Liris Crosse of Project Runway + Maggie Sottero Designs
I was lucky enough to get to work with the Harmon Brothers production company as their behind the scenes cinematographer for their Maggie Sottero Designs Spring Collection photo shoot. I shot the footage on my RED Scarlet-W with a Canon 16-35mm f2.8 L lens on my glidecam to allow for a very mobile, adaptable rig that captures beautifully cinematic imagery. I shot most of the footage of Liris in the wedding gown at 48fps, and a few special shots of Liris in the greenhouse at 120fps. For a few shots, I also used my Canon 24-105mm f4 L lens in the telephoto range paired with a shoulder rig when smooth, dynamic movements weren’t as necessary. This allowed me to get some more telephoto compositions to mix up the overall coverage and give the editors more options in post production.
I post my filmmaking adventures almost daily to Instagram. Check it out by clicking this photo!
